Results from Surgery

Hi All

 

Went for the results of my lumpectomy and lymph node removal. Types found after surgery Invasive Ductal and DCIS, one tumour, which was 13mm clear margins of excision, ! lymph gland removed clear of cancer, Vascular invasion - negative, Oestrogen Receptor - positive, Progesterone receptor - positive. Will be having Radiotherapy and Hormone Therapy - Anmidex. Good news I think? Have received lots of encourgment from the forum. Good luck to everyone waiting for results.

That’s great news - no chemo!  Check out the threads on the Hormone therapy link, really helpful if you have any side effects from the tablets!
