Results late!!! Good or bad??

I know I shouldnt be worried about this but I was told to expect my results of my nipple smear last week and they are not here yet!!

All sorts of things are going through my head, most of the time I am thinking its a good sign because they would be in touch if it is bad news but every now and again I get really worried.

The general signs are good, nothing on mammogram or ultrasound, so maybe it is good news.

I was fine at the beginning of the week but as the days have gone on I am getting more and more worried, I could have slapped the postman yesterday poor old thing.

I don’t know but I bet it doesn’t mean anything. They’re probably just running late.

They do say the waiting is the hardest and as I’m waiting for the results after my Mastectomy I’m inclined to agree.

I recommend staying really really busy :wink:

How are you doing? I hope everything is ok.

Im just very up and down at the moment I think. This menopause has really hit me. Migraines, severe flushes, disturbed sleep, I even became alergic to nuts. It started quite early 42 so hopefully not too long left eh!! she says hopefully.

I feel bad too because my problems are not even nearly as bad as you and most of the women on here, its just that I dont want to go on about it at home as no one really understands and I dont want to worry everyone.

I agree with Angie, I had to wait nearly three weeks post op. and now waiting for next lot of results from second op. and do not know if it will be this week or next. I will prob. give them a call if hear nothing by Wednesday. You could always give them a call if you hear nothing tomorrow. Sorry that I cannot be more helpful.

Update.

Rang my consultants secretary and she has no record of smear results on computer ??? She says she will chase them up for me. Ho Hum :frowning: More waiting …
