Hello well finally get my results tom to see what grade I’m dealing with!
I had my op 3 weeks ago, yesterday my armpit went funny think its cording.
I’ve also got an appt on thurs with onc so it seems to be all moving now but just can’t sleep woke up at 3am I’m not panicking about it, just can’t sleep, I hate it when that happens especially when my children are in their own beds…I can’t remember a night when I haven’t been woken up especially since I was dx 6 weeks ago.
OH is snoring so loud the walls are vibrating oh well just thought I’d come on here for a bit and say hello.
Oh well I shall try to go to sleep for a bit now, alarm goes off in 2 hours…

hi leeds im the same when i wake my mind starts rethinking again and i have to get up. i was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with labular.i have an mri in two weeks to find out the size. i had a bad day yesterday when i think i felt every emotion there is.i keep telling myself onward ad upward but sometimes the hill seems to steep. sending hugs to you xxx

Thanks for the reply, I got a couple of hours before i got the kids up to get ready for school.
Now just preparing for the appointment. I dont know anything about grade or size, I think it was 4cm…but not sure, just praying I dont need another op but if i do then I do…
Then dont seem to do mri’s where I am but I will find out more today I hope…

Good luck with your results today.
I am being treated in Leeds and have had 3 MRI scans, so if necessary I’m sure you’ll be offered one. I have been more than satisfied with my care. I hope my experience gives you confidence that you are in good hands.

Hello well I got my results.
I’ve got grade 3 ductal cancer my lump was 32 mm and I’m oestrogen postive and her2 neg and progesterone neg. But although I had clear margins on my breast I had 1 out 4 lymph node involvement. So I have to go back and have a full auxillary clearance in the next two weeks. I will be in hosp for 2 nights.
On one hand I’m really happy cos I get to keep my boob but scared that its grade 3 and they said agressive, but also keep getting told because I’m young they are doing everything for me!
Next app is on thur to meet the oncologist and find out what treatment plan I’m having!
So I’m a bit emotional tonight but ok Not told my eldest as he’ s only just started sleeping again. We decided to wait till we have a date for the op!

I think we’re both posting on the Jan Op thread too. I felt devastated yesterday when they said I had to had more surgery but heyho you just have to go with the flow don’t you! I’ve got to have all my nodes removed as 1 out of 5 was not clear. My margin isn’t quite clear either so they’ll take a bit more away. I’ve not been told to see the onc yet but each area seems to do things differently doesn’t it.
Keep strong, we’ll get through this!
