Can I ask if many of you had pain with the breast lump? Had 10 core biopsies in 4 years.Had partial mastectomy last sept. Never had pain with lump before.This time other breast.
Any advice would be helpful-can;t sleep with the stress!

yes Finny i had pain with my lump it felt like a burning stabbing pain what i thought was mastitis and it sometimes woke me in the night and I would have to take a painkiller, but it was intermittant and usually around period time so again thought it was nothing to worry about.Hope yours turns out to be ok good luck for tomorrow x Julie
Thats exactly the same as me Julie. Very intermittent but like a hot poker at times.I’m pepared for the worst really-been here so many times

I have spoken to people who have cysty breasts who have had pain with them, though my cysts weren’t painful or uncomfortable. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Hi Finny, if it helps I have had several lumps which hurt which were all just cysts or fibrous thickening. I now have a bc dx for something I can’t see and didn’t hurt. Mind you, since I’ve known its there and had a biopsy it hurts. So I think I’m saying I think hurting is probably good but I don’t think you can really conclude much from that, better to assume the best unless someone says otherwise. Fingers crossed for you xx
