Today I logged in to answer a question on the Secondaries section. I noticed that I had a PM, and I read and replied to the PM.
I then clicked on Sent Messages.
To my horror there were 3 pages of messages that I had sent, some going back to January 2009, and several to people who have now died.
I am absolutely certain that I had DELETED these messages.
Anyone else noticed anything similar?

I am so sorry this has happend. We have been looking into and investigating why this has happened.
Because pms were completely private on drupal (the old forum platform) we were unable to check for individual users that they migrated over correctly. We checked on all the staff accounts and did various testing scenarious as well as undertaking spot checks which did not show up any errors or anamolies. This appears to be an unfortunate isolated occurrence, and again my apologies for this.
