rheumatoid arthritis

Hi everyone, just a query really, I have just been for the results of my bone scan which thankfully came back clear, but was told it showed arthritis in my knees and heels. Anyway he thinks it could be rheumatoid arthritis and said he would refer me to a specialist. To cut a long story short, its been two weeks and i still haven’t heard anything. I appreciate I may not get an appt soon but thought I would at least get the letter saying when appt is. Does anyone know if this is normal, Im only wondering because my consultant kept getting distracted during my appt, and I wonder if he has forgotten to do it. Dont want to ring if its normal to wait, thanks lizzy

ps He said sometimes its triggered by chemo, has anyone else had this,my legs and feet are very sore and its now three months after chemo, they were fine before

Hi

Don’t worry (better said than done) but my joints were very painful during and after chemo which did take a long time to go (months rather than weeks) give yourself time. Mine are fine now and I finished chemo in Jan 06
