I am devastated to hear this. Laurie was such a positive happy person. I will remember the joy she had in her convertable “Beetle” when we all met at Potmaids for lunch. Many a night during chemotherapy was spent in her company.
My heartfelt condolences to her family.

I felt very sad and tearful on hearing about Laurie’s death.
Although I never met her I read her posts as they were always encouraging and supportive, she came across as such a generous spirit and a lady with a great sense of humour, someone who would be great to know and have a laugh with.I read on another site where she was posting that she so wanted to make it till summer - her son’s b’day.I really hoped she would.
My condolences to Laurie’s family and friends.
I have not been on this site very much lately. Logged on this morning to see this. What sad, sad news . I always enjoyed reading Laurie’s posts which were always knowledgeable and caring and positive. Like all of you, I feel for her husband and children. RIP Laurie. xx
Add my condolences, my sadness and most of all my memories of how wise and caring Laurie was. Seeing her name next to a thread always meant helpful advice given in a gentle way. She will be much missed by us; how much more then for her family. Rest in peace, Laurie.
