I know there has been a lot of dicussion concerning celebrities and breast cancer, but i just wanted to acknowledge how great Sally Webster/Whittaker is looking now she has returned to Coronation Street. I know she will have had make up artists helping out, and could well have a very expensice wig, but i think she looks great on Corry tonight and i think the writers and Sally are trying hard to get it right. I liked her coment back to Rita when Rita said has she had the all clear? Sally told her it doesnt work like that but they are keeping a close eye on her.
Further, how hard would it be acting this story line out after having gone through treatment yourself? I think she deserves a big clap and well done. Even if you are on telly, she must have found her dx as hard as the rest of us.
Vickie, totally agree. Read in an article Sally herself fainted when she was told of her dx. Will be interested to see how her rehabilitation is played out.
Hear hear I could have cheered when she said that to Rita, maybe the message is getting through that there is nothing such as the all clear but more a case of in remission. I thought Sally looked great too though think she probably was wearing a wigin her old Corrie style.

she looks absolutley fab and agree entirely with what you say Vickie. i said the same thing to my husband when i saw back on telly that it couldnt have been easy to come back and go through it for her job when she is actually living it herself. i take my hat off to her, think she’s just brill.
