I think the advice is to avoid saunas and steam rooms if you are at risk of lymphoedema

Hmmm I went to a spa this weekend and went in the steam room and sauna and have done several times since my surgery ! I didnt even think to ask if I should or shouldnt…mind you my bcn knew I was going to a spa and didnt say anything.
Still best to check with your BCN…Ill be interested to hear what she says…xxxxx

I haven’t been in sauna or steam room since hving my mx in april…but i used to alot before.
When I asked my bcn whether I would be able to in the future she said that it was upto me, as you can’t give up everything you like to do.
