I got my first scan results yesterday after being diagnosed with sec bc in November. The tumours have shrunk slightly after 3 chemos. I have triple negative bc and wasnt expecting such good news. I have an infection in my breast caused by fluid build up from lymphoedema but that can be treated with antibiotics. So happy. Still cant take it in that the tumours are responding to treatment. Proves there is always hope x
Such good news Kelly. Amazing how a good scan result can make us feel so good. Hope you get the infection sorted and do something nice to spoil yourself.

Ive now had 4 sessions of Carboplatin. No sickness or naseau or hair loss either. Just makes me a bit tired in the first week after treatment but i can cope with that xx
