Hi all, I had my first Tax yesterday afternoon via my Groshong Line (very similar to Hickman) and last nigh I noticed that my insertion site for the line was bright read and blood shot - I phone the emergency number and they said not to worry.
This morning I noticed that the skin around the insertion site has gone really dark - not painful, just a bit more aware of it if you know what I mean. I rang them again this morning and they said that if it changes any more to ring them again. Also the scar at the insertion site has dipped deep like a dimple and changed shape.
Has anybody any experience of this, I am worried that the chemo might have leaked, but they said this is unlikely with a skin tunnelled catherter.
I know they said not to worry, but I am really worried.
