Hi I have just had a mastectomy for invasive lobular cancer I got my results back and the tumor was 84mm and it has reached the lateral margins which can not benefit further surgery all my lymph nodes have to be removed and I need radium chemo and hormone treatment I have also got to have full body scan and bone scan and I’m scared of those results x

Your dx is very similar to mine as i had invasive lobular cancer 61mm and i had to have a mx on 23rd June, I also had 18 nodes removed which were all positive for cancer which is very scary and did cause me megga distress. However both my bone and CT scans were clear.
The chemo and rads will attack any remaining c cells so there is still treatment so the outlook is positive and that is what i tell myself and it has helped me a lot.
