Hi Tracylouisa
Sorry to hear your worrying news.
If you have been to the breast clinic before you might be able to go back there straight away without referral from your GP. Give them a ring and see if you can get an appnt without GP referral.
Also, I recently had a bit of a scare, had a CT scan to see if I had a blood clot (long sotry which I won’t bore you with!) lungs/heart OK but scan picked up 2 areas which may have been “post op change or recurrence” under my arm and breast where I have had the surgery. 2 weeks and an ultrasound later, I have been given the all clear, they are sure it is not recurrence but scarring & post op change.
So try not to think the worst (easier said than done I know, I have spent the last 2 weeks convinced it was back) but do get it looked at asap.
Fingers crossed all is well and let us know how you get on

Hi daisygirl,
Glad all was ok for you. My op was on my right breast and the doc saw the mass on my left breast. i had a test for blood clot before did you have to breath in the horrible stuff or injection. pleased all was ok for you. I had untrascan on my breasts in august and they said nothing in either breast they didnt find the lump i still have that i had tested at another hospital the year before so i dont want to take any notice of them thats why im worried. like your sign on name its great hope you are well.xx
Hi tracylouisa
I can understand your concern, I had a mamo last July and it did not pick up the lump under my nipple but the US in Nov did. The tests for blood clots were ECG and then CT with liquid injected into me, not very nice at all. The worst thing was the 3 injections I had in my stomach until the scan showed no clot!
Do try to contact the breast clinic direct, you may get an urgent appnt so the waiting isn’t so long.
