Hi linzs

There is a whole thread called “Anyone else with liver secondaries”. If you check under Recent posts and go back a couple pages you will find it - I’m sure one of the lovely ladies that posts there will have some useful experience to share with you.

Hi Linzs,

I was diagnosed with secondary in liver in April, too. Had 6 cycles of FEC and now just “scar tissues” left. Now will do further investigation to see if more things need to be done.

At the time, my onc mentioned RFA - Radio Frequency Ablation - a special op on liver. Don’t know whether you heard of it before. That’s probably the option for me.

I’m HER2 neg, so herceptin won’t work for you. I’m ER+ and PR+, so starting hormonal treatment (Zoladex and Arimidex next Wed).

There’s a few other ladies on here with liver secondaries and have been on herceptin for some time, hope they come along and give you more assurance.

Take care xx
