I recently went to the ER after finding a lump in my breast. The ER did an ultrasound and found it was a solid mass. They sent me to the breast care center were I had a mammogram and another ultrasound. He found two lumps shaped like a sideways snowman. I know have to have a biopsy. He said my nodes were fine and that he would bet 100 its not cancer. This still doesn’t make me feel better. I watched my grandma die of breast cancer so I am completely freaked out. The doctor thinks its fibroadenoma (sp) it does move and it hurts. I am only 37 years old…I am a complete mess!

Hi Angie, I’m in the same boat, had mammo, ultrasound and 3 biopsies last Thursday and was told i’ll get my results this Thursday and the wait is awful…The emotional rollercoaster is unbelievable but remember 80% of cases are benign so all I can suggest is expect the best but prepare for the worst, if u need an ear feel free to message me, I too am absolutely terrified!

So, USA? Canada? The initial part of this rigmarole is definitely the most nail-biting, wherever you live. Fingers crossed for you that it is good news!
