Hi Lisa,

Sorry you’re going through such a tough time. I really can’t comment on your symptoms… I really have no idea on what this might be. The only thing I can say is, you’ve done the right thing. Although it seems like ages away, try to keep your mind occupied as much as possible with other things; easier said than done, I know…

The worst part for anyone is the waiting… Once you have a good idea of what you’re dealing with, it gets much easier, even if the news isn’t what you want it to be. That said, I really hope for you that it’s nothing serious. I really can’t say, but I do know that most breast cancers are rarely accompanied by pain.

Best of luck with your appt. post on here whenever you need support… There is usually someone waiting to offer advice, or even a shoulder. Lots of love, Mel. xxx

To nervous cant sleep!!!having a few glasses of wine to help calm my nerves, breast clinic visit today!!!

Hi Lisas 1970 and Hadders, I am only recently diagnosed and can feel the feelings you are both going through, I was petrified.  All I can say is whatever the outcome you will start to find the strength to deal with your own situation.  I am only a week further on but unfortunately my results confirmed it was cancerous. I am finding more strength each day (but still have a meltdown once a day, which I see better than all day !!) Be as strong as possible and hopefully you wont need the support from this forum, if you do, for me its been invaluable, fingers crossed and a big hug to both xxxxxxx

I hope all is well lisa i will keep my fingers crossed for you.  Im awaiting my appointment too.  I have no idea what to expect x
