Hi Ladies may I start by saying gow amazing this forum is! Sadly I found myself being diagnosed with HER2 positive breast cancer in July of this year and has a Lumpectomy Aug 17. Surgery was fine and surgeon got clearance first time around. Ive been doing fine until now and im due to start FECT tomorrow session 1 and I am terrified…loads of good hints and tips on here but I dont know what to expect? Is sickness a given? Can I drive after? Thank you in advance x

You may like to join a thread where everyone who is starting chemotherapy in October are sharing their experiences and supporting each other.
Plesae do pop on and say hello, they are very welcoming and you are all in a similar situation.
Alterntively you may find it helpful to post in the Ask Our Nurses area where one of our specialists will be able to help you with the more clinical aspect of your question.

Hi Sue its ok dont worry! Im on the October thread now thank you and it is very very useful and all the ladies are very supportive! Touch wood, im feeling ok just tired…taking anti sickness meds which have helped though taken last of steroids today…only had 1 day worth from hospital! Im just wondering / waiting for any more side effects…keeping fingers crossed i dont have any! Hope you are well
