This looks like important research, perhaps particularly for those of us with triple negative breast cancer. Most BRCA1 cancers are triple negative, as are basal type tumours.

The key to treating triple negative bc lies in finding targetted treatments, as happened wity her2++

Silly question - what is a basal type tumour? Mine was big…8cm, and grade 3 and HER+++ but don’t recall anything about basal being mentioned
