Well back from my never ending hospital appointments !!! I have invasive ductal carcinoma 2/3 lymph node involvement hormone positive . Plan of action chemo radio and hormone therapy. and some confusion over the mri scan showing something in my left breast which after another ultrasound they say is nothing. I was dx on the 18th november surgery planned for 14th Jan. Unsure how i feel as i ahve 100 questions going round in my tiny brain at the mo and the most troubling one of all is reconstruction any advice would be greatly appreciated xxx
Very similar to where you’re at, perhaps a couple of weeks behind (get MRI results tomorrow).
1 - write down all your questions so you can ask them all.
2 - There are NO stupid questions.
Can’t help any further as you’re closer to stuff than I am, but I have things crossed for you.
Take a look at the “Hit me with your rhythm stick” thread for positive things. At this stage if you’re anything like me you’re seeing demons everywhere, so it’s good to have a little place to stick the middle finger up at cancer and celebrate some of the good stuff, however trivial.
