Hi 1janey
I am sorry to read of your recent diagnosis, I know some of the other user will be a long soon to offer you their support. In the meantime you may find it helpful to look at the BCC secondary support page, it includes details of information sheets availble as well as support groups and where they are being held. If you would like to have a look at this, below is the link to the page:-
Also if you would like to talk things through please don’t hesitate to give the BCC helpline a call on 0808 800 6000. Here you can share your feelings and concerns with someone who will offer you emotional support as well as practical information. The lines are open Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm and Saturday 10 to 2pm.
Best wishes Sam, BCC Facilitator
Hi Jane, I’m sorry to read of your diagnosis. It’s such a shock, it can take a while to get your head round it all. I was diagnosed stage 4 in 2003 and I still have ‘how did that happen?’ moments. Hope the radiotherapy went smoothly. What treatment will you be having next?

Hello Jane,
I’m going to the BCC secondary overview day in London on 24 Oct (details on this site). That might be a good starting point to meet others.
There’s also a thread on here for bone mets, lots of others who are doing well over many years.
Good luck, Sarah.
Hi Sarah, I’m hoping to go along to bcc overview day next week. I was diagnosed with bone secondaries just over a month ago. Like you im hoping to meet others.
