Hi new to forum, I have stage 3 invasive ductal Ca left breast, luckily on lymph involvement. I’ve had a rough ride with both cycles of FEC, being admitted with chest pain and neutropenia first cycle and septic neutropenia day 5 of second. Nausea throughout despite changing and upping meds, no energy at all tinnitus the list goes on.
Day 9 I started having seizures for no reason, ended up in ITU for 2 days, Ct scans, MRI , heart scans and a lovely lumbar puncture. Anyway the fits died away over 4 days and the docs think it was a reaction to the FEC, perhaps an infection, really stumped.
They have moved me on to Docetaxel and although it took me 10 days to feel “normal” and not nauseated things seem ok.
Just wondered if anyone had experienced something like this, was pretty scary. Xx Steph
