Serous fluid

After having implant removed, and further surgery, getting rid of the strattice, now have build up of fluid.Had some aspirated on Wednesday, will need to go back in next week,to have more drained, following advice from BCN.Anyone have this, and require aspirations. If so,how many times did you go back?
I know we are all different, but would love some idea.It is not re absorbing at all as I hoped

Hi Jillybee

i had a huge amount of serous fluid in my breast…I didn’t realise at first until I was showring and heard a swooshing sound coming from my breast  when I was drying myself … my consultant said it will drain itself and left alone…which it did. She doesnt believe in drains following surgery or aspirating; she believes that is best to leave it alone and let nature take its course that to reduce the risk of infection by opening the closed environment…it took a coupe of weeks to go …Don’t know if that helps but I know how it felt  x
