Sharing your secondary breast cancer story

Hi forum members

Breast Cancer Care is planning a DVD for people who have been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer, and their families. The DVD will show people telling their stories, and aims to help viewers understand how having secondary breast cancer can affect them emotionally, while also offering lots of useful practical information. As such, we’re looking for three people with secondary breast cancer to appear in the film who are willing to openly share their experiences.

We’re interested in hearing from a very diverse range of people. So you can be any age and from any background; you may be coping alone or have a support network, such as a large family or a close group of friends; you might be married or single; and you could be at any stage of secondary breast cancer. Whatever your personal situation, if you’re happy to talk frankly about living with secondary breast cancer, we’d like to hear your story.

If you would like to know more, please contact the Assistant Producer, Jo Bartlett, at <script type=“text/javascript”>eval(unescape(‘%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%6a%6f%61%6e%6e%65%62%40%6d%65%64%69%61%74%72%75%73%74%2e%6f%72%67%22%3e%6a%6f%61%6e%6e%65%62%40%6d%65%64%69%61%74%72%75%73%74%2e%6f%72%67%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b’))</script> or on 020 7874 7652.

Please note that by getting in contact, you are not committing to being filmed and the first chat would very much be for you to find out more about the filmmakers and the film, and for the filmmakers to find out more about you. If you feel you can help, we look forward to hearing from you.
