Shaving after SLN

Hello, just wanted to share.

I am a big fan of the wet shave, in fact I don’t like electric razors and the thought of putting a removal cream ( yes i did chicken out of spelling depil, deple…etc )near my tender scar was a no no.

I bought one of those teeny wee JML beauty trimmers for £10 in Boots and it is spot on. Tiny wee head so you can skirt around any lumpy bits and it trims close. Nearly as good as wet and because you can be so precise you can be more through than with a normal electric one.

Might not suit all, but i thought it was good. x

Thanks Crabbit… the one I bouhgt (based on an ealrier thread’s advice) has not been great. Will look out for this one.

I have no hair on the right side, never grew back after my op…after chemo its re-growing on my left but still none on the right!

Thanks for this Crabbit! I bought a cheap Phillips LadyShave in Boots after my op and I find that the head is too large to effectively shave the few bits that did grow back.

I hope it’s useful. All the wee hairs trying to grow back around my scar are causing real irritation. I do hope radiotherapy zaps them!

Thanks Crabbit, that sounds like a brilliant idea. I’m a bit paranoid about using a normal wet razor especially with a full node clearance & was trying to think of what i could use apart from an electric one which is normally huge so i’m definately gonna buy one of those, cheers x
