Should I wait 8 weeks?

Hi

I had my last Tax last week and am so pleased.

I rang my Onco today to ask when I would get my next appointment and CT scan. I have been told due to annual leave it wouldn’t be until 20th August. That is 8 weeks from my last chemo.
I would then be sent for a CT scan after this appointment.(I am having herceptin every 3 weeks to keep me going & not due rads or surgery)!

The question is should I wait, or should I make a fuss?

Hi Mandylou,
I should think it would depend on your diagnosis.You’ve finished chemo,they’ve monitered you throughout and should have a pretty good idea weither an 8wk break will hinder you at all.It’s up to you- if you are not happy with the situation have a word with your bc nurse and tell her how you feel. I bet you’re glad the tax is over and done with in this weather!!!
