me again lol

last night i was throwing up(sorry) so what happens about my tamox tablet?
it cant have got in there and stayed lol
is it just one of those things ?
what happens if you miss one

Hi lincs lady sorry your not well.I dont think missing one or two tablets will make much difference,I have forgotten to take it on a few occasions.And I have heard of some women who have aches and bad side affects having a break from tamoxifen for a few weeks to see if their symptoms subside. Hope you get better soon.

Yes, I’ve heard of patients having a break from Tamox too. I found when I first started taking Tamox that it made me nauseous but when I switched to taking it just before bed the effect passed.

Doesn’t it tell you in the leaflet what to do if you miss one? Most drug leaflets do. Normally, if it is fairly soon after you were due to take it, then to take it when you remember. If not, just take the next one when it is due. In your case, I would have thought that if you were sick soon after taking it, then take another, but if it was a fair time afterwards, you would already have absorbed it.

just took 1 as normal last night

i threw up with in 1/2hr of taking it the other night and new it wasnt going to be just the once lol so didnt take another there was no point

im going to ask bc nurse on tues what to do next time as i know it wont be the last sick night in 5 yrs lol

Hi lincs lady,I misunderstood your first post lol I thought you had a bug or something.I know of many women who were or felt sick when they started tamoxifen I had a bit of upset tummy when I first started,but it all usually settles down after a few days.Hope it does for you.
