At the risk of sounding a miserable old s*d why are the archives back at the top. Still no time clock, still the headings on the latest posts in no logical sequence. What a mess. I do feel grumpy about loosing our old forum. What this new forum must be costing BCC in man hours must be huge - would be interested to know what their budget was. Also and I know this is picky but why does everyone keep thanking the techies for the job they are doing - they are paid to do it and clearly if I messed uyp like this in my job i would have got a sever b***ocking.

I have thanked the techies at one point as it is a terrible headache for everyone, and they can see that and probably feel bad for us all, and disappointed themselves.
I don’t understand how these things work but very often when message boards change their system, things go pear shaped. It just isn’t usually so important to the users as it is here in terms of support at a time when things are bad.
My sons work in IT and change times are very stressful for everyone concerned.
The useful thing about us moaning is that they get to see what we are finding difficult, and can then try to fix it.So don’t feel bad about being grumpy, you are part of the solution! It is better than it was, There are probably not enough people to do the job that is required in the short term.
I am still quite new to this website and was so pleased when i came on for the first time a couple of months ago. even posted a few times ( for the first time in my life ) and was so grateful for the help and support i got when i was scared or downhearted. Now i feel like it’s been taken away from me and i feel isolated again as i can’t find anything! I am so sad about this. As i said, i am new on here so goodness how all you ladies who have been using it for longer must be feeling. I know that new systems rarely seem as good as the old ones until we get used to them but I found the old one was so easy to navigate and this is not. I have been trying to post on other threads but cannot even get in! things seem to change from day to day, like the order of topics on the left.
