small surface tumours on chest

I was Disgnosed with Secondary breast cancer in November 2009. I know I have secondary cancer in the bones in my shoulder which is sometimes painful and also in my lungs although chem seem to have kept the latter under control. My main problem is where I had my mastectomy I now have lots of small lumps which seem to be spreading up toward my shoulder, despite the chemo. Some of them have become open wounds which frequently become infected. I am finally seeing a tissue trauma nurse, but progress is slow. Does anyone have any suggestions that helps these wounds heal?

Hi margi
are the spots skin mets? If so they will need treatment- either chemo or rads. I had skin mets really bad + had radiotherapy because I hadn’t had it before. I no lots of ladies on here have had chemo for skin mets.
Mine were really nasty although the skin never actually broke. I would defo suggest speaking to your onc + getting some treatment. If you are hormone positive, a change in hormone meds may also help.
All the best
