hi all
have been to clinic today and had a biopsy and scan i was told i was too young for a mamogram as i’m only 30, don’t understand that but never mind ,
the results came back with no problems and its just probably a fibodema???
but had to have another biopsy but more of the lump using a different instrument,
got too go back for results on friday, if it is they said i could have it removed,
has anyone else had this and what would you suggest?

Did you have to have a core biopsy? The staple gun thing?
I had a fibroadenoma and had it removed. I think most people on here suggest that it be removed. I had microcalcification with mine so I had no choice. It was just day surgery, a bit sore the next day not too bad though, and multicoloured boob for a couple of weeks.

yes the 2nd test was the staple gun thing ,

Its like little specks on the ultrasound, if they are a certain shape the radiologist can sometimes tell if they are anything to worry about. They were worried about mine but all was removed with the lump so no further treatment just yearly mammos.

Great to hear things were ok for you. I’m delighted every time I hear someone has been told not BC… it’s great that it doesn’t get us all.
