Yes, definitely up for a Taunton meet - am trying to conserve my energy (what’s left of it) so still not sure about going to Bristol this month but think I could manage an hour or two just up the road!
Any day is good for me - apart from 23rd/24th June which are hospital dates and also 26th June is not good. But apart from that I’m free!!

oh sorry i cant make that as i have a lymphodemia appointment at last and as ive been waiting months for it i cant cancell .but im sure you will all have a good time .glad to see your feeling better lesley.

I know what you mean Marmite - I’m certainly turning into giant haystacks daily. There is not many of us meeting - we could either advertise this more widely or we could change the day.

Just done the Race for Life in Bristol, with my daughter and grandaughter (6), managed it Ok but a bit out of breath and very slowly. but insteaad of being on a high am raher low as had hoped to get scan results to-day. My onc is so good and always phones me the minute he has them. His Sec who had them on thursday, said she would post them with his clinic letters to sign and that he should get them today, maybe delayed in the post or maybe he is away for week-end, will just have to wait.

I think it would be a good idea to move it from the 25th as so few people can make it - although I’m going to be a bit manic with work, end of school ‘stuff’ and various other things until mid/late July - oh, and the small matter of my final chemo session and getting over that. Can we try to arrange something for late July that will suit everyone?

Results show fluid on the lung and progression in the lymph nodes in my chest. Also healing fracture on my rib where I had pain about a month ago, presumably caused by mets.
So starting new chemo next wednesday gemcitabine/carboplatin combination. opted not to have paclitaxel again, as I don’t want to lose my hair again as it would probably not grow back and feel quite strongly body-image is all important at this stage.
If you could give the exact address of restaurant will try and come next week, but not too sure how I will feel, as have first dose of new chemo the day before.

Just reread previous comments. So realise that everyone wants to change the date, which is probably a good thing. So I await to hear when it will be. Wednesdays not that god a day for me as I will be having chemo 2 weeks on, and 2 weeks off, starting next wednesday
