hi everyone, could someone advise me my face after last tax, 4 of 6, was very red when i got home, it felt sunburned, i didnt think too much of it, but now its sore again and so is my top lip, it isnt red just sore could anyone recommend products to wash, and moisturise my skin with, i thought of something like simple soap, or something without perfume but i was just wondering whether anyone could recommend anything to me, i particularly like the idea of natural products,thanks for any suggestions, liz xxx

I used aloe vera gel for sore skin and rashes for both chemo and rads.Holland and Barrett do a large tube at a reasonable price.It is cooling and is totally natural.They also do aloe vera soap which I use all the time as I only use natural products.

the corner of my eyes are sore after tax and it feels like im burning from the inside out. I put a little diprobase or vaseline on to try and help the soreness. I was also told to use a strong sun factor for at least 6 months after chemo finished to prevent sun burning.
hi ladies, i will get something tomorrow with aloe vera in it, and also i have used some vaseline on my lips, i had got one of those little round tins i had forgotten about, thanks for reminding me hatty, i have just washed my face today using warm water and patted it dry, it doesnt feel quite so sore but i think it may well be i have been out when its been sunny and i have burned my face, not literally but because it seems to be sensitive due to the chemo it hasnt helped anyway thanks for the advice ladies, tomorrow i will go out plastered in vaseline, aloe vera and suncream, even if its pouring with rain lol love liz xxxx
remember Vaseline will burn in the sun so get sun cream! Also aloe vera do a brilliant lip balm that i use all the time. From one hot face to another lol
Oh yes and Lanacane anti chaffing cream is brilliant for those little now hair free down below places…
hi hatty, never thought of that i will look like a lobster instead of a salmon, lol my friend does avon i think i will ask her shes got loads of creams and potions for sensitive skin all the best liz xxxx

I can really back up hatty on the sun cream.I went to the canary islands 6 months after chemo and rads and got sunburn through my clothes.My boobs were redder than when i was having the rads!
Went out every day covered head to foot in factor 50 and sat under every vacant umbrella.still worth it for the rest,food and red wine.
