Hi Everyone I have number 5 RADs today and my nipple feels quite sore today do you think its the early effect of RADs. I asked a member of staff but didnt really get an answer!!!
I had another experience today I booked transport and a big ambulance drew up outside lots of curtain twitching going on now. Never mind it gives the lovely neighbours something to talk about!!!
Hi Kay
Hope rads is going ok. I finished 16 zaps last week. My nipple felt (and still does) as though it’s on ‘high alert’ if you know what I mean!
Anything that touched it made it very sore particularly if it rubbed.
I just kept slapping Aqueous on.
Glad you’ve kept the neighbours busy ;o)
Take care

Yep I got one of them sore nips too… today was zap number number 23 for me. I actually have quite a spectacularly red boobie but the nipple is now so dark it looks purple. Am continuing with the aqueous cream but have to say applying it to the nipple is a bit painful … have taken to using my squishy cushion in bed between my arm and my side to stop my upper arm resting on any part of my boob.
Didn’t get a sore nipple as had had a mastectomy so no nipple to zap.
However about towards the end of the treatment the remaining one was sore which sent me into a quick panic. Then I realised, for the last half of the treatment I hadn’t been wearing a bra just a T shirt which was rubbing against it and causing the soreness. Panic over but worth pointing out it may save others from worrying in the future.
Hi all
If I was runner I’d say it was ‘runner’s nipple’ you know, friction from rubbing on clothing, but as I haven’t run for a while I’ll just say ‘it’s friction from rubbing on clothing’!!!
Know what you mean, lilacblushes, about touching the nip - ouch! Mine is yellow at times when really painful.
Oh joys - it’s no wonder they don’t tell you as no-one would bother.

Well it appears that my nipple has decided it’s going to peel… looks a bit strange but not too tender at the moment… I won’t go tweaking it just in case. Also got a little pit of a peeling effect going on around my WLE scar … but my old chest drain scar which has been there for years is now bright white … shame it’s not approaching Xmas or I could get a leading role in the nativity play as it looks like the guiding star!
Only 2 booster rads to go and then I’m done … apart from the never ending joys of tamoxifen that is!
