Some of you may have read my moans and groans over the last 6 months at my wound healing and consequent inability to get my back wet and have a lie down bath well…
Just wanted to share - last night, at 9pm, 6 months to the day after my LD recon op, I lay down in a bath full of water and had a soak!!!
My wound has finally finally healed. Yes I have a rather unattractive scar and the skin on my back is going to take sometime to get back to normal having had a large dressing on it for 6 months, but right now the fact that I am able to do what I love to do when I need to relax and soak my worries away is fantastic!!!
My ducks have so missed me
