I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in may 2016. I have had chemo and radiation. Went back 12/27/16 for a bone San and ct.scan to see how.things looked. They called the next week and said the CT scan showed a spot on my lung. Really worried and just wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen.
Hi Spireabr. I haven’t had this happen but didn’t want to scoot past your post. I hope you will be able to meet with someone from the team quickly and hopefully it will be nothing to worry about xx
Thank you
Hi Spireabr, I was diagnosed May 2014. Before my chemo, I had a scan to check for any spread and my scan also showed a spot on my lung. I had a follow-up scan after all my treatment finished and apparently there was no change to the spot so it was ‘written off’ as something like scar tissue but nothing to be concerned about. To be honest, I’d forgotten all about it until I saw your post! Hopefully, yours will turn out to be nothing of concern too then you can move on. Best Wishes, JuSt x
Hi, after being diagnosed in Sept 2014 and treatement of chemo, rads, masectomies etc I had my first scan around Sept 2015 which showed about three pulmonary nodules/lesions on my right upper lung. I went into serious panic mode and worried that I had secondaries on the lung or possibly even the start of lung cancer. The doctors took a wait and see approach tellling me that they would scan me again in six months and see if the nodules had grown as the nodules were too small to biopsy. Growth is a worrying sign. Aftter six months of worry, to my delight, my scan showed they had remained the same. Since then, another scan shows no change. I think in the majority of cases these nodules/lesions do not turn out to be cancerous but it can be such a worry. Best wishes to you.
