Spotting on tamoxifen

I have been on tamoxifen for 7 months & have noticed on 2 occasions after straining on the loo (sorry to be graphic!) the tiniest bit of vaginal spotting. I have had a scan which has confirmed endometrial thickened (DR said he wasn’t surprised due to tamoxifen) and am waiting for an endometrial biopsy. Going out of my mind with worry. Has anyone had anything similar & was it okay? Thank you. S x

Hi Sonia,
It is a known side effect of tamox & certainly other ladies have been through similar & have been ok. Thank goodness you’re getting it seen to, although I’m sure you could do without the anxiety.
