Hello everyone, I had a double mastectomy in December and start my chemo next week, it has been good to hear the good and bad stories of the chemo experience on here! I also had 32 lymph nodes removed, no one warned me of the excruciating pain afterwards which makes you feel as if someone is trying to electrocute you 24/7. Luckily I am now on stronger pain killers and it’s more liveable with! Every little pain I get I think it’s the cancer returned but I guess it’s the nerve endings trying to repair themselves! I had a Pep scan yesterday to check it has not spread anywhere else, please wish me luck, the strength you can get on forums is amazing and I have joined so I hope I don’t feel so alone as I am going on my journey with me and my dog pretty much! Bless all you strong and positive people out there! X
