Started journey in May

I’ve been reading everyone’s experiences but this is my first post. I’ve had excellent treatment along the way some little blips too! I was diagnosed end of May and had surgery 16th june which diagnosed a 10mm grade 2 mucinous carcinoma ER+ HER2- findings were margins clear and no lymph node invasion, since then I’ve had an underarm seroma which had to be drained 5 times and 2 courses of antibiotics for infection in said seroma, everyone involved nurses doctors and family have been wonderfully supportive as I’ve felt dreadful at times hence me only posting now, I’m finally able to move on and had my radiotherapy prep scan and tattoos on thurs to start 5 days of radiotherapy on 24th September, I also started tamoxifen 3 weeks ago but have had some worrying side effects and told by consultant to stop it and she’ll phone on tues. I seem to have managed to stay positive throughout, my surgeon did a wonderful breast job so much so that the radiographer couldn’t find the scar which is around my nipple (underarm was good but now stretched from seroma) just got to put the radiotherapy behind me and think I can hopefully feel a nice cruise coming on !!

@orchid1
Hi, don’t worry about the RT as most people find it’s the easiest part of the treatments so you’ve already been through the worst. And there’s lots of alternatives to Tamoxifen so hopefully that’ll get sorted for u soon.
Hope this helps xxx
