Starting chemo Monday 6 October at the Royal Marsden, London

I met with the registrar and professor yesterday who have advised me that my chemo will be FEC-T. Just wondered if any of you lovely people will be having chemo on the 6th who’d like to say hi and give me the benefit of their experiences. Would be great to make some friends during this process.

I’m starting 6x FEC on 7th so a day behind you.

Very happy to be your buddy and very nervous about it all at the moment despite lovely chat with chemo nurses yesterday.

hi, i have my chemo on the 3rd Oct. This will be my second 1 and today i have had all my hair chopped off because it was falling out all over the place. My chemotherapy is 4 X AC then 4 X Taxotare.
After my first chemo i was so tired i could hardly get out of bed and i felt so sick. I had some anti-sickness pills which helped.After about 5 days i started to feel myself again,back to the old me & ive felt great ever since (apart from my hair coming out). I am getting a wig tomorrow so i don’t feel as sad as i did.

Hi Cat,

So will you be roughly the same start date then?

I’d not be able to buddy ‘in person’ as you suggested as i’m in the west country! I meant we could support each other online if that’s OK with you?
