Hi Jill, hope all went well for you Wednesday.
I have my second FEC tomorrow and although I didn’t feel too bad last time I’m still feeling very aprehensive, I hope it’s no worse this time. My hair started coming out in handfuls and was getting everywhere so I’ve clippered it off and started wearing my Buff.
How are you doing Junieliz?
Hope all are getting along ok.
Take care, Marita x

Hi all, going for 3rd chemo on Monday, Hospital tomorrow for blood test to see if white cells are up enough, mouth a bit sore with ulcers, skin a bit sore but otherwise not too bad, see how I go after next week. Bought wig it does look ok, I have lost about 80% of hair now so wear cap inside and will wear wig tomorrow for hospital. Hope all you ladies and gents are ok love junieliz

Hi all, had 3rd chemo yesterday so far so good mouth feels better. I wore my wig out and must say it did give me the confidence I needed. I know its a personal thing and doesn’t work for everyone but it did for me. I got it as near to my own style as possible, I put it on on Sunday when my grandchildren came and when they went home one of them said to her mum, mum nan has had her hair streaked, so to me that said it all! Hope everyone is ok luv junieliz

Hi all, thank you again for all your support, Sunday I was feeling really bad worrying about monday and very stressed. Monday morning I went to hospital it was a very long day and midday started with chemo also I used the cold cap all the way and it was easier than I thought, kept it on for 1 1/2 hours. When I left the hospital I felt more energy than before and kept waiting when it is going to hit me but nothing. Almost 24 hours and so far so good , polo mints kept me from feeling sick and heart burn a little bit. So far is so good  I had my hair cut just after I have left the hospital and loved my new short hair , I never knew short hair would suit me every one telling me I look much younger.
One tip from me when go to your chemo take a friend with sense of humour , my partner made me laugh all day , I thought I was having a day out in hospital and he made other patients and nurses laugh too. I took all the tips for chemo from this forum and it really worked, sucking on a lollipop was very good and ate very good breakfast and lunch and drink plenty water and juices before.
I hope you are all doing so well too.

Good luck and big hug to you all
Gul
