Kaz - I paid £80 for the second wig. Then bidded for 2 on ebay - one I got for £18, and the other £13. They come in sizes petite, average and large, - I was average at the wig fitters. I’m still waiting for one of the ebay ones, but the other is fine. I now have 4 completely different looks - one of which is a bit goth with blood-red streaks!

Yoghurt…have done a lot of research on this as i eat a lot of it…do not eat live IF you are neutropenic or possibly from day 5 - 10 however I do…but then I do stuff like eat all sorts of cheese!I would not advocate anyone do what i do…its personal choice.
Bugs in live yog are good bugs…even more dangerous are bad bugs i.e the sort that turn pasturised milk sour…
There are lots of dangers and we have to be sensible but there is a thin line between sensible and neurotic…for example lots of bacteria on door handles, shopping trolly handles, bus & train poles and hand rails…and on our children!!!

go for it Dima the session was very enjoyable and a really good laugh too. I went alone…got the last place! No one knew each other but we all soon got chatting, there were 3 beauticians (sp?)and they really knew their stuff. I got a HUGE goodie bag and will make good use of it!

re wigs - no one has mentioned it to me about a free one - not sure If I qualify but as I have more than enough anyway I may not bother (though OH will no doubt tell me to get it anyway if it is free!!!)
Had a bit of a panic attack earlier - felt like couldn’t breath, felt feint & heart racing - called OH & he came straight home from work. Of course by time he was home I was OK again. Only once had this before when dealing with very stressful marriage breakup so knew what it was but still very scary. everything just got to me all of a sudden & couldn’t cope - have been so strong so far but think once I start the chemo I will feel better (ironic I know but you know what I mean)
I’m going to book a session & have ordered the DVD cao I have no idea how to draw eyebrows!!!
Have no intention of running anywhere- now suffer lopsided flobbling about.

sorry to hear you had panic attack, they seem to be happening to a few of us. stay calm and if you get it, come on here, or do something else, and try and work through it. they are vile. i have had panic attacks on and off for about 17 years. not nice, but its just youe body’s way of saying your knackered mentally, and you need to have your life back. hard to do when on this journey we are on. but trust me hun, when u get started you’ll be loads better, you’ve been really unlucky with your wound.
ps as for the wig, everyones allowed one.
what DVD Millykins? is there one that shows you how to do eyebrows? I booked a LGFB a couple of weeks ago but the first available date was in March.

Sophie-tis true the puppy is taking up a huge amount of my time and attention and love him to bits!! That and shopping of course which I seem to be doing a lot of! Christmas presents are all done already!
I love my wig! I got the four through from eBay and they’re ok but not as good as the fake hair every day one from Trendco! Maybe it’s because I chose one that particularly suited me and the others are just nice but not necessarily the best! Thunk I may relist them and sell them on!
I’m interested I’m this Emend thing! I was sick thd first night and nauseas/delicate for 3-4 days and prefer to be sick than to constantly feel like I should be-I think I may ask about it when I get my PICC fitted on 16th the day before chemo number 2!
