Hi, I don’t know if you read my post last Friday morning but in it I used swear words… !!! It’s not normally like me to do this but to be honest I really needed to let off STEAM…
We all get so angry, frustrated etc at times so I’ve been thinking could we have or would it be possible to have a STEAM ROOM, ie. a title where we can go and do just this.
Somewhere we are not judged but can have a good old rant!!!
And maybe a good swear…
Opinions on this would be good…

…there is a similar thread on ‘bcpals’ called the rant room.
It works very well and (as you would expect) is frequently used.

It’s not so much a thread Juliet as a ‘forum’ and it does work well - but only very mild swearing usually with **!!%%% etc. LOL not quite what muffett had in mind I think.

really the difference between a thread/forum as the girls on the Lesbian one know - is that threads disappear, but a forum(not sure if that is the right word even)stays there and threads can be addedto it. LOL We have even thought about having a soap box forum!!!

love the idea…I personally think it is important for individuals to have the unsolicited ability to post their inner feelings about their BC and how it has effected them physically & emotionally.
many people pay a lot of money for that form of therapy!!!
And as stated before, if titled with a warning those wishing not to read certain words can avoid.
Not one for using bad language (much) I can totally understand the frustration in trying to expess the darkest of emotions and not being able to do so and using language which may have seen alien previously can really help!
so bring on such a site, I shall visit xxx

Yes please!! Sometimes I have typed out how I felt and then stopped and censored myself halfway through or even on a couple of occassions just not posted as it’s a lot less cathartic to go through re-reading and taking out the words you felt. Let’s face it when you type great big bag of f***ing sh*t it’s a lot more of a release without the asterix!!
