Hi all you lovely people.
As you may remember, I went to the clinic yesterday. I had a mammogram and scan, which they were happy with, so far so good ! Then I was seen again by the consultant, he was saying it would be a good idea to take a sample of the lump. So I had the sample taken and was told it would be between two and three weeks for the results to come back. By this time my head was spinning with all sorts of doom and gloom, I was happy one minute and in despair the next. I will just have to sit it out and wait, try to keep busy and not think about the results.

I’m sorry you have to wait that long but I Deffo think there’s lots of good signs there they usually tell you off the scans their suspicions but they have to back it up to be 100% with a biopsy. Wishing you luck and a quick wait xx
yes they usually have a good idea when they look at the scans and they dont usually pull the wool over your eyes, but if there is any doubt at all they take the biobsy as a precaution.
Keep it in your mind—50% of biopsies are clear!!!
But it is still going to be a worrying time, just as bad as waiting for this first appointment.
someone on here was talking about inventing a time machine–would that that were possible
If the waiting is doing your head in, I would pester the BCN to find out if the results are in yet. I had to wait a week and that was hell enough.
