Successful Dieting on Tamoxifen

Hi
I’ve been asked if I want to do a Diet, Complementary Treatments & Lifestyle Study by the hospital. I think I’m going to do it, It’s a 5yr study and it involves yearly app for blood and urine, one of the yearly checks they will be doing is for body hormones which as I said before is something I would like checked.
I have mixed feeling at the moment I’ve had bc and been treated successfully, I would like to move on but I still feel like I need a safety net, the yearly visits to the hosp may be just that. On the other hand will they be a constant reminder.
I’ve posted this here because it follows on from my last post but I apologise if it should have been a new thread.

Go for it Caz. If its going to provide you with a safety net that will put your mind at rest, then just do it. I think your instincts are good anyway - its good to monitor hormone levels at this stage.

Caz
I think it would be a very positive thing to do both for you and for ladies in the future.

I forced myself to the gym last night and once I was there and got started I loved it, I just need to get my diet back to how it was before cos I have slipped into some poor habits which seems very back to front as you would think I would be more keen to eat well now than before.

Its good to know I can do something about this extra weight, all i need now is to get on and do it!!!
