Hi ladies I just wanted to introduce the support group I have started in Heathfield, East Sussex. It’s called Facing Cancer Together and is a group just for women, of any age with a cancer diagnosis either now or in the past, and also women who are caregivers to someone with cancer. We only started in January 2016 and there are several lovely ladies that come along who vary in age and stage of treatment. We serve delicious barista style coffee, tea and homemade cakes, which is all free. The group is on every fortnight, on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm at State Hall (opposite Tesco Express), Station Road, Heathfield TN218LD (free parking behind building). It is run by me, I had breast cancer diagnosed in 2014 age 42. We have a Facebook page where I post dates of meetings, it’s called Facing Cancer Together Heathfield so please have a look on there for updates and dates of the next meeting.
