Just got home after fat transfer op today following an LD recon without implant last October. Can anyone advise me on whether I have to wear the sport pants 24 hours per day and for how long ? I’m very bruised already across thighs and bum where fat was taken.
Also do I need to wear bra 24 hours?
I was so fuzzy after the anaesthetic forgot to ask the relevant questions .

I was told I had to wear the support pants and bra 24 hours per day for 6 weeks after fat transfer op taking fat from my stomach. I was also told to wear anti-embolism compression socks for a few weeks but can’t remember how long.
I think you need to ring your BCN as I got different advice re the support pants and was told that I should wear whatever was comfortable - so far as I am aware it is only necessary to wear support pants if they take muscular tissue not fatty tissue but you should check this with your own advisor.
Again as far as I am aware once you are ambulatory you should not need support stockings.
