Support Please Hi
Going to hospital today for 2 check ups feeling a bit scared have got no problems as such so why am I feeling like this?
Anybody felt the same after 12 months?
Thanks Janet x
Hi Janet You are definitely not alone in feeling that way. I’m almost 2 years from diagnosis and still get terrified every time I have a check up.
Just wanted to say I’m thinking of you.

Good luck with your check ups, I am sure you will be fine.
I went 20 years and got really complacent, but do you know when I had to go last year I knew I had a problem and I was right, had a recurrence. I think we know our bodies and you would know if things were’nt as they should be.
Let us know how you get on.

Me too Hi Janet
I was a complete wreck before my yearly check-up - so stressed out. It’s normal! Don’t worry!
I even made an idiot of myself and almost started blubbing at the reception desk - they said they had no record of me and was I a new patient - having had 3 ops for breast cancer in the previous 12 months I was not amused.
Hope everything goes ok.
Will be thinking of you.

Small world! HI Sue
Just picked up your profile from Janets letter, I now live in Lancashire, but used I lived in Pangbourne for 8 years on Bethesda Street, my ex husband still lives there. Do you know Margaret who lives also on Bethesda Street?

Good news So pleased to hear your check-up went well Janet - at least you can try to relax now for a few months. I don’t think we’ll ever stop worrying about every check-up, every cough, every ache & pain, but hopefully it will get easier with time.
Debbie - it really is a small world - everyone I meet seems to have heard of Pangbourne! We live in the village itself - I think Bethesda Street is on the Upper Basildon side - am I right? We’ve just bought a new house here so will be staying for a while - I love it here with the fields and the river. I come from up your way - was born in Barrow-in-Furness.
Have a great day everyone,
Love
Sue
