I had a supraclavicular node enlarged. The surgeon gave me antibiotics for 10days. The node was still palpable. He did a fine needle aspiration. It was benign but surgeon still wants to remove it because of my breast cancer history. MY QUESTION IS SINCE IT WAS BENIGN, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Regards,

Personally, I’d have it removed. I had a benign fibroid removed which was hiding a tumour, that’s how I found out I had BC. All of my test results were clear and there was no reason to believe anything sinister was going on, so it just shows you things can be wrong.
