hi ladies im having second surgery tomorrow and am starting to get nervous they found 1 node was infected so having them all out is anyone else having surgery tomoz in the birmingham area or having same would love to speak to anyone in the same boat xx

Hi quinny,

Not having surgery tomorrow but did have axillary clearance in October as i too had 1 node involved, so 6 months down the line from you. Just to try and reassure you, out of 18 removed only that 1 was infected, so quite a relief. As it was grade 1, i only needed radiotherapy and tamoxifen.

thanks sunshine i am grade 3 and was told i only need rads but it changes all the time …i got to meet with oncolist soon so will find out xx

Hi quinny,

I had one node removed during my first surgery 4 weeks ago. As it showed a micro met I am having the rest of them removed in a second operation a week from tomorrow. Hoping very much the rest of them will be clear!
It’s a grade 3 and I was told I need chemo and rads.
