DX jan 08 age 34, mast, chemo, rads, herceptin/lapatinib trial, tamoxifen since aug 08. ER AND PR + HER 2 +. Just had 2nd zoladex injection and been switched to arimidex and calcium tablets. Is it normal to change from tamoxifen to arimidex so early on when you are on zoladex.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Hi, I was changed from Tamoxifin to Arimidex. I was told that studies indicated that about 2 and half years on Tamoxifin and then change to Arimidex were showing good results.
I don’t know if this is the reason your meds have been changed but thought I would answer and hopefully other ladies that are on the same meds as you might see your post and respond.
