I’m three weeks from having finished Taxotere (4 x AC then 4 x Tax) and my ankles and tummy are swelling, plus the weight is just piling on without me eating anything!!
I know this is a side effect, but has anyone else had this and how long could it last?

Yes, yes and yes!
Ankles were very swollen by the time I finished tax.
Seem to remember them going down fairly quickly once I’d finished.
The weight however is a whole other issue.
Most of the weight has eventually dropped off but I’ve still got a ‘muffin’ where my waist should be.
I blame the steroids!
(finished chemo July 2006 by the way).

I just feel like a slowly inflating balloon - great to know the swelling will eventually go down - not sooo good about the waistline though.
